The Shoot System™ is a cooperative ecosystem for independent authors. Instead of paying thousands out-of-pocket for editing, formatting, and design, members earn and redeem credits by helping one another. Your book moves through a clear, standards-based workflow — and you never surrender your creative ownership or royalties. Because here, we help each other blossom.
Plant a Story
You submit your manuscript in Standard Submission Units (10,000-word packets). Each packet moves through editing and production at a manageable pace, with clear expectations.
Work the Land
You earn credits by contributing: editing, reviewing, designing, mentoring, or promoting the co-op. Skilled contributors earn more — but everyone has a role.
Harvest the Book
When you’re ready, you redeem credits for professional-grade support — editing, formatting, cover collaboration, and ISBN access — without giving up control over your work.

- All submissions are timestamped and documented for proof of authorship.
- Editing and feedback are handled through anonymized packets (no name attached).
- We never claim rights. You keep 100% ownership and 100% of your royalties.
- Plagiarism or idea-theft is grounds for immediate removal from the co-op.
